
It's no secret that Mexico is a top location for #quarantinetravel but how can you go about it safely? I'm the first person to say I will continue to travel during this time but it's important to do it responsibly. The majority of countries that US vacationers travel to are 3rd World Countries. Many of those countries depend heavily on tourism to maintain their economy. While I hold this as a big reason to continue to travel, I also acknowledge that many of these same countries don't have the medical support to keep all of their citizens healthy if we choose to come in and not follow protocols........
......Here are the current provisions that Mexico has in place for all tourists as of November 29, 2020.
The initial restrictions technically no longer exist!
The US and Mexican governments only restricted land travel and that came to an end on November 21, 2020. The limitation of crossing the border by land is the reason you still see people vacationing in Cabo and Cancun because they are entering by plane.
COVID-19 Testing

You are not required to have a negative Covid-19 test in order to enter

You are not required to quarantine upon entry

They may perform random Covid-19 tests if showing symptoms

When departing, you have to fill out a Covid-19 symptoms sheet either digitally or physically.
