An inland town in United Arab Emirates (UAE), today known as Al Madam Sharjah UAE, lives as a ghost town, a place that has long been abandoned, long forgotten! An eerie silence now surrounds the entire place, which is locally called ‘Buried Village’. It used to be a tiny hamlet once upon a time. According to the locals nearby, it was once inhabited by the people of Al Kutbi tribe Most of these houses in al madam Sharjah UAE were constructed back in 1970s or 1980s under some housing project in emirates. As you walk around the village you will be amazed but what Mother Nature has done. She has reclaimed every house in the village, there is sand in every room as high as the roof. At the end of the community is an abandoned mosque that has been protected from the elements of nature that took over the other buildings. This is something you should do if you're in the UAE.
