Firstly, I booked my flight before the UK announced the addition of Malta to the post travel 14 day quarantine list. I did a lot of research on Malta, their response to covid-19 and fatalities. They had very low cases and next to no fatalities. Equally, I’m 100% sure I did not have corona virus or any symptoms before travelling - I’d never want to take a virus to someone else’s country and put other people at risk. Face coverings (masks) were worn upon entry to all public spaces in Malta and in cabs/on transport. Temperature was checked at relevant locations and sanitiser was readily available and encouraged everywhere.
