Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary and Orohanage is an amazing ethical home for Elephants located in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe! Wild Horizons rescues and rehabilitates elephants and finds homes for elephants that are suited for those homes. Their elephants roam freely and do not live in any enclosures. The encounter allows you to walk with these “gentle african giants” for a few hours, all while learning about the plight of the African elephant. We visited this sanctuary late December 2019 and though it was raining on our way there, the rain had stopped by the time we arrived. The tour continues rain or shine.
