Black History Month 2021: Celebrating Detroit's architectural history
The City of Detroit kicks off Black History Month with a weeklong celebration of all the ways Detroit has contributed to American excellence in music, literature, poetry, architecture, dance, fashion and the culinary arts. We're also launching "Undefeatedand" a YEAR long celebration of Detroit's excellence in arts and culture. In this first installment, we take a look back through the looking glass and examine the sociological significance of Detroit's architecture.
